CAD Engineer - Electromechanical
Location: Bangalore

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated CAD Engineer with strong expertise in SolidWorks to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in 3D modeling, drafting, GD&T, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
Qualifications
Education Requirements
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience in CAD design using SolidWorks
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficient in SolidWorks (3D modeling, assemblies, detailing, drawing creation)
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) per ASME Y14.5-2018
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, injection molding, fabrication, etc.)
- Good knowledge of engineering materials and their applications
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience in preparing BOMs, technical documentation, and engineering reports
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in on an international team
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using SolidWorks
- Apply GD&T to ensure accurate and functional engineering drawings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, suppliers)
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and revision records
- Support prototype development, testing, and design optimization
- Assist in improving design standards and CAD best practices
- Create and maintain 2D drawing templates for use across several disciplines
- Ensure design feasibility based on manufacturing and material constraints
