About the role As a Sales Account Manager , you will be responsible for managing and developing customer relationships to deliver sales growth and commercial success and be working closely with Customer Services and Operations in an international environment. Key Responsibilities Managing and expanding relationships with the existing customer base Prospecting and developing new client base within the Life Science sector Planning and conducting customer visits, making at last (on average) 20 customer visits per week Preparing and following up on quotations and commercial proposals such as tender proposals. Monitor status and execute on won bids as needed. Entering daily visit reports from the previous day into HubSpot Further strengthening and expanding relationships with existing customers, resulting in sales across the life science portfolio Ensuring strong follow-up and excellent account management Sharing market insights and customer feedback with the wider team and leadership Stay up to date with product developments, manufacturing processes, and supply capabilities Understand the overall sales process, CRM system and procedures. Establish, secure and grow relationships with assigned accounts in a specific geography inline with wider business objectives Develop & execute business plans focused on specific account projects or industry segments Respond to specific RFPs or formal proposals as required Provide quotes, proposals and presentations to assigned accounts for specific opportunities as needed Your profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or relevant experience in the laboratory sector A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar commercial role or technical role Excellent customer management skills Strong communication, negotiation and networking skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong SAP / ERP and CRM system experience Confident use of data and KPI’s to drive insight and improvement Excellent planning and organizational skills Proactive, result driven and customer focused mindset Strong team player skills Native Dutch speaker, fluently English speaker What we offer An international network with creative opportunities and individual career options A collaborative work environment with short lines of communication and an engaged team Market compatitive salary How to Apply Ready to combine commercial drive with scientific innovation?
